This application (“Buenos Aires City Bus”) is operated by Gray Line Argentina (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we process and for what purpose.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

  • Booking data: first name, last name, email, phone and passenger names, which you provide only when purchasing a tour or experience.
  • Payment data: payment is processed through Stripe. We do not store or have access to your card data; it is handled directly by Stripe.
  • Purchase history: we record your bookings to issue and manage your tickets.
  • Diagnostics and usage data: to detect and fix errors we collect technical data (error logs, app version, operating system and platform) sent to our servers; it does not include your name or email. We also use EAS Insights (by Expo) for aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (e.g. app opens, version and platform).

2. DATA THAT NEVER LEAVES YOUR DEVICE

  • Location: we use your location only on the device to play the audio guide based on where you are along the route. We do not transmit or store your location on our servers.
  • Camera: used only to scan the QR code of your voucher. We do not store the images.

3. HOW WE USE THE DATA

We use booking data to process your purchase, issue your tickets, send you the voucher and provide support.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

  • Stripe (payment processing): name and email associated with the payment.
  • Our servers (Gray Line Argentina): booking data to issue the tickets.
  • Expo (EAS Insights): aggregated, anonymous usage statistics, to improve the app.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. SECURITY

All communication with our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).

6. RETENTION AND YOUR RIGHTS

We keep booking data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal/accounting obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to [email protected].

7. MINORS

The app is not directed to minors and does not intentionally collect their data.

8. CHANGES

We may update this policy; we will publish the current version on this page.
